In class today, we watched a 45 minute video on tips when filming. I learned many new ways to make my videography better, which include utilizing rule of thirds, using a microphone, as well as not filming on a autofocus camera. These three things are essential when interviewing or filming in general. Using rule of thirds makes the overall presentation more visually interesting, and get more emotions of the subject. Next, utilizing a microphone is important to get the best quality sound as possible. Lastly, an autofocus camera is not reliable because it may focus on the wrong subject, such as non relatable objects in the background.
